North Richmond Youth Project

North Richmond Youth Project is committed to empowering and supporting young people in the North Richmond area. Established to address the growing needs of youth in our community, our project offers a safe and inclusive environment where young people can thrive, develop new skills, and build positive relationships.

Our mission is to provide essential services and programs that promote the health, well-being, and personal development of youth. We offer a wide range of activities, including drop-in center hours, health and wellness programs, creative therapies, and social opportunities for isolated youth. Our food program ensures that young people have access to nutritious meals, while our free physical health program, in collaboration with local sports businesses, offers activities to support the development of young people.

Recognizing the importance of family support, we also extend our services to include parents and guardians, offering family movie nights and other community-building events.

At North Richmond Youth Project, we believe that every young person deserves a safe and supportive space to explore their potential, receive guidance, and connect with their peers. Our dedicated team of youth workers and volunteers is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of the youth we serve, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within our community.

Annual Undead Disco

The Undead Disco is more than just a Halloween event, it’s a chance for young people to connect, have fun, and feel a sense of belonging in a safe and welcoming space. We run the event to create positive community experiences, encourage creativity and self-expression, and give local young people something exciting to look forward to. Through music, costumes, activities and shared experiences, the Undead Disco helps strengthen relationships, build confidence, and celebrate youth in a fun and inclusive way.

Hawkesbury City Council’s Youth Fest is one of the events we proudly support and participate in each year, using it as an opportunity to celebrate young people and strengthen community connections. Our involvement allows us to connect with local youth, raise awareness of our service, and create positive pathways for engagement and support. By being part of Youth Fest, we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to young people and our community while creating fun, welcoming opportunities for connection and belonging.  Click here to view the flyer.
